yum isn't that dumb as apt that it needs a misleading option like
"dist-upgrade" because it handles obsoletes and updates out of the box
as it should
"yum distro-sync" would even do downgrades and ensure that the installed
packages are in the extact vesions which are currently on the mirrors,
revert temporary usage of upates-testing as example
anyways, it shouldn't be needed unless the package source is broken or
overrides base packages and has now a lower version for whatever reason
which couldn't be solved outside the repo anyways
