Well yes, it does say that, but nowhere does it say you cannot seize
roles at any time. I did it all the time when I was writing and
testing the code to transfer and/or seize the DNS FSMO roles.

Just seize the roles!!!!!!

samba-tool fsmo seize --force --role=domaindns -U Administrator
