this is a USERS LIST and even if no single person of the samaba team
ever tried any other RFC conform NTP implementation it don't matter,
other users maybe have expierience and instead of jerk responses listen
to them would be a good idea

or at least give *a single* TECHNICAL reasoning besides "we din't try"

in case of a network protocol like ntp which exists for decades it
should not matter at all which implementation is used and if it does
someone should point out the details so that other implementations can
get fixed so they work too instead rely on a single implementation of a
RFC protocol

until now each response in this thread sounds like "i have no
expierience but i say no for a reason other than i didn't try it"
