I have been building samba packages with AD DC for quite some time now 
(http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/j-engel/), we are using these 
packages in production.
Since Leap 15.0 openSUSE is providing a package set out of the box with MIT 
Kerberos support. However, I have not been able to test those as the packages 
are shaped a bit different from mine...
