[Samba] "net view" gets me "System error 71 has occured" and "no more connections ...."

Hai Jobst, 

Ok i've re-read you thread, and the first thing i think of run : 
net config server /autodisconnect  
And bit more in the IP stack reset ip and winsock stacks. 
netsh int ip reset
netsh winsock reset

To make sure it is'nt some old windows thing. 
Can you try that. 

And run on the server where your trying to connect to. 
smbstatus -a 
Lets see what and how its connected now. 
You can anonimize domainnames and ips. These are not important. 
Try to add the os what belongs to the ip, that helps in identifying the problem.
