Known problem, so much so that your new DC has a way of fixing it ;-)
Transfer anything you need from the old DC to the new DC (FSMO roles,
files, etc), then turn it off (never to come back)
Now run the demote command on the new DC like this:
samba-tool domain demote --remove-other-dead-server=REMOVE_OTHER_DEAD_SERVER -U Administrator
see 'samba-tool domain demote --help' for more info.
