An other possible workaround,
You can also try to add the vfs object in the share share its needed.
In you global settings :
allow insecure wide links = yes
unix extensions = no
in the share, there where needed.
vfs objects = (yourneeded vfs_objects) and wide links = yes
vfs object is normaly set in the share not global.
At least thats was `man smb.conf` is telling me.
The load order of vfs_objects do matter.
