[Samba] memory usage and old connections

Hi all,

I am currently battling what I assume is a memory leak in Samba, there is a
thread here on reddit with a bit of context,

Digging a bit deeper using  smbstatus I’ve noticed lots of old
“connections” showing even though the NAS has been idle for some hours -

Seagate seen have apparently investigated and can’t reproduce any issues.



Any input would be appreciated.
