What I have proved is, there is something wrong with your installation
and/or the way you installed it.

I have never installed Arch Linux before, never mind used it. I
attempted to install it, but failed, so I tried again this morning.

It took me about 4 hours on and off, to install Arch Linux and then
provision Samba 4. Most of this time was spent finding out why
something didn't work as I expected.

I have provided you with my notes, I cannot do any more than this, I do
not have, or want to have, access to your computer.

Read the notes, try and spot why it doesn't work for you. If all else
fails, set up a new VM and try again.

All I can say is, I got it work on an OS I have never used before, so
you should be able to as well.

Please do not shoot the messenger, just because you do not like the
message.
