Hello,

Anyone running a mix network of Win. 10 and 7 clients and use the
Central store for group policy administration? I'm adding Windows 10
workstations and need to update my Central Store to include the Win. 10
admx files.

I read over the steps for a Microsoft AD Network

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3087759/how-to-create-and-manage-the-central-store-for-group-policy-administra

but am unsure if it's entirely relevant to how Samba handles these
files. MY assumption is to save the Windows 10 files to my existing
Central Store

/usr/local/samba/var/locks/sysvol/domain.local/Policies/PolicyDefinitions/
(Yes I know about .local)

overwriting all the existing files and run

'samba-tool ntacl sysvolreset'

I believe it should be as simple as that.

I had also planned to use a Win 7 client to administer Win 7 machines
and a Win 10 client to administer Win 10 machines. Using RSAT on both.
Aside from backing up my sysvol folder, am I missing anything before I
proceed? Thanks.
