As far as I am aware, the OP is just in the 'testing' phase, so is
unlikely to have mysql installed. If it fixes his problem, then he
knows where to look to fix it correctly and yes, setting up Apparmor
is probably the correct thing to do.

You could always install mariadb-server instead, this doesn't seem to
require Apparmor.

I also fail to see just why Apparmor is a dependency for mysql-server ?
