Sure, but since this server has undergone a lot of testing, including a 
lot of samba versions, it could very well be something I have caused 
myself. Not sure what though.

Thanks for the tips. I'll try Rowlands suggestions first. Recreating 
sounds a lot better than repairing secrets.ldb.
