[Samba] printserver with HP UPD only prints black

Is anyone using Samba as print server?
Where the printers are  installed in a private vlan (192.168.x.y) and 
are not directly accessible from the outside?

For me it looks that samba needs this

[x] enable bidirectional support

to make color print work.
