[Samba] Not enough storage space error

This feels very much like

The issue is that if you combine renames with searches, then objects
can appear to vanish.  

That would be another good reason to consider 4.7.

In the meantime, if any objects have vanished from one DC due to this
issue, then running a 'samba-tool drs replicate --full-sync' between
the DCs will be required to get them back.
