This bug report indicates that the problem shown there has been fixed
since Samba 4.4.0. You are running 4.4.4 so it should have this fix
in, already.

What type of client machines are connecting, that are having this issue?
Are they all Windows clients; are they Unix machines running smbclient; etc.?
Do all client machines have the same issue, or only some?
