Yes, this works perfectly.

[root at larkin27 ~]# smbclient //localhost/netlogon -Uadam -c 'ls'
Enter adam's password:
Domain=[BACKBONE] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 4.2.14-SerNet-RedHat-23.el6]
  .                            D        0  Thu Sep  8 10:40:35 2016
  ..                           D        0  Fri Dec 14 19:55:08 2012
  Triad_Wallpaper.jpg          A   170557  Thu Mar 27 12:51:07 2014
  sbn.bat                      A      368  Wed Oct 21 12:14:36 2015
  actnghr.bat                  A      469  Wed Oct 21 10:54:27 2015
  Thumbs.db                    A    13312  Fri Sep 18 08:48:39 2015
...

And, again, I can - on the Windows workstation - run
"\\{DOMAIN}\netlogon\script.bat" and it works! It just does not run,
after the upgrade, when the user logs in.
