OK, how did you provision the domain ?

I ask this because the error message you posted comes from here:

        if use_ntvfs:
            logger.warning("Please note that POSIX permissions have NOT been changed, only the stored NT ACL")

and as you can see, it only gets printed if you are using the
ntvfs backend

Can you also post your smb.conf from the DC (you can sanitize it, if
need be).
