Sure.

I have 2 DCs, one running on macy (FreeBSD) and the other one running on
nidy (Gentoo Linux). Bind is running on macy and 2 other hosts in the
same subnet. On the DC2, nidy, no bind is running, but pointing to the 3
dns servers in resolv.conf.
