why donÄt you just start with a distribution package, get the basics 
right and *then* play around with packaging / compile instead making all 
at the same time and at the ned don't have a clue why things are don't 
working asking for help here?

a smb server wihtout active-directory is *really* not rocket science and 
should not take longer than 5 minutes to setup - after it works go further
