Are you trying to set up a PDC ?
If so, I suggest adding 'domain logons = Yes'

You will not find a file called 'tdbsam' , this refers to the backend,
there is also one called 'ldapsam'. Your file will most likely be
in /var/lib/samba and will end in '.tdb', sorry, but it has been
quite sometime since I set up a PDC in this way, but I think the file
you are looking for is called 'sam.tdb'
