[Samba] is samba ad dc the domain and local master browser ?

Samba AD DC does not run nmbd and I think nmbd is responsible of netbios
browsing stuffs.

I could easily be wrong about this previous sentence but if I'm not that
means members are responsible of browsing using netbios as they are the
only ones running nmbd.
