Thanks for your quick reply.

/etc/resolv.conf points to the dc as a nameserver

search mydom.lan
nameserver IP.of.my.dc

/etc/hosts
127.0.0.1	localhost
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx	fs.mydom.lan	fs

::1     localhost ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters

The IPs are correct
