[Samba] Notification of file modification in subdirectories not working

Hi all

I have a problem where notification about file modification (edited text
file) is not passed from one Windows7 to another Windows through Samba.
Monitoring is done via custom application that recursively watches for all
events on certain directory watchfolder.
Strangely all events are passed through fine in watchfolder itself
(including file modification).
Also all other events like file creation/deletion, directories renames etc.
are working fine in subdirectories of watchfolder.
The only thing that is not working is modification of content of the files
in subfolders.

Tested with Samba 4.1.11, 4.1.17, 4.2.4 and 4.2.7 with exactly the same
result.
I was using Sernet packages

The only similar issue I could find is old ticket

Used two Ubuntu machines 
Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS
Linux machine1 3.19.0-25-generic #26~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 24 21:16:20
UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

and on Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS
Linux machine2 3.5.0-49-generic #74~precise1-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 2 21:32:31
UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
