In your krb5.conf I think it goes something like this.

[realms]
 DOMAIN.COM = {
  kdc = ldap1.domain.com:88
  kdc = ldap2.domain.com:88
  admin_server = ldap1.activision.com:749
  master_kdc = ldap1.domain.com
  default_domain = domain.com
 }

Subject: [Samba] winbind failover not working

Hi,

I have a Ubuntu server 12.4.LTS running version 3.6.3 of winbindd.
I use the MS AD to authenticate users, this works fine while there is no problems with the AD server.
If the AD server reboots the winbind never switches to other AD servers, there are 4 here.

I used this to joint the domain:
net join -U admin createcomputer="OU=Servers,OU=abc,DC=domain,DC=com

I can't find anything on the Ubuntu box that would make it only connect to 1 AD server.

Any ideas what I could do to be able to use more then one AD server?

Regards,
K
