No, that is not what I said, what I said was (but in a slightly 
different way):

It is believed to work with Samba from version 4.2.0

You still seemed to be having problems with version 4.2.4, *is this 
correct ?*

Have you added the 'max protocol' line to smb.conf and *did this fix 
your problem ?*
