I did tried SSSD with Sernet' Samba (a 4.2 I expect) on Debian 7.8. Both
were working together with default Debian package for SSSD. About the
version, I can't tell, I switched all my Debian to 8.1... I'm almost sure
there was "id_provider = ad" available in that Debian's SSSD version.
