[Samba] Wither "uidNumber" and "gidNumber"? (was: Re: ldbedit: no matching records - cannot edit (newly-created user))

Where might I find these attributes?  They're not in the user's idmap
record.

Again: Tried to find out about them with searches.  Came up with a
comment about how a developer had patched samba-tool to allow setting
them (?), but the samba-tool I have doesn't appear to have that
capability.

What do they do?  Where are they documented?

(As an aside: I got a domain login with a roaming profile working,
this afternoon.  I accomplished this feat by ignoring all Samba4
documentation past the point of running samba-tool to create the user,
and looking up MS-Win docs for the rest. The user could not, of
course, access his own network home directory, because his Unix UID
is one number, and the arbitrary number Samba4 gave him was, again,
up in the 300k range.)
