[Samba] winbind does not work+sernet package+samba 4.2

Yes winbind is running

ps ax | grep winbind:
30609 pts/0    S+     0:00 grep --color=auto winbind


systemctl status winbind:
sernet-samba-winbindd.service - LSB: initscript for the SAMBA winbindd
    Loaded: loaded (/etc/rc.d/init.d/sernet-samba-winbindd)

   Process: 26205 ExecStop=/etc/rc.d/init.d/sernet-samba-winbindd stop 
(code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
   Process: 26210 ExecStart=/etc/rc.d/init.d/sernet-samba-winbindd start 
(code=exited, status=6)

My krb5.conf now only contains these lines:

[libdefaults]
      default_realm = TESTAD.BIO.AC.UK
      dns_lookup_realm = false
      dns_lookup_kdc = true

Yes resolv.conf points to the DC as the first nameserver.
nameserver DC_IP
search testad.bio.ac.uk

windbind still refuses to work. If there is anything else I should look 
at please let me know.
