[Samba] Can't seem to get 'root preexec' to run

I apologize for sending this message twice. My confirm request bounced 
(thereafter), so I figured it wouldn't have been received properly.

I also apologize for not having used a search tool on the archives of 
this list. That is because I haven't found such a thing.
