If you provisioned with '--use-rfc2307', then you did extend the schema, 
you would also have see this printed to the screen:

Setting up fake yp server settings

You are quite correct, you only need to extend the schema manually if 
you didn't provision with '--use-rfc2307'. I have now added a line to 
say this.
