Can you please show us your smb.conf and /etc/hosts?


It seems your /etc/hosts resolve soothsayer.d.oflameo.com to 127.0.0.1 
instead of its real IP. See

Did you bind Samba to some of your interfaces and forgot to add 
localhost? See
