If you want to know how to do with with VMware stuff, you have to ask
VMware or in their forums.

Inside your VM you can of course use the typical tools like "top" to
find out how many CPU/memory your processes have taken. It's the same
for limiting resources (I guess this is what you mean with "how to
allocate"). You can use cgroups for that.

If you meant something else, please be more concrete.
