[Samba] FW: samba 4.1.13 not applying domain policy in windows XP clients

try setting also in your GPO, 
 
Always wait for network at startup ..  
in Computer configuration/Templates/network/network connections. 
 
and what are the errors  in your event logs.

still not working for my XP clients ... and the error persist ... by the way its a very simple GPO .. deny the control panel to users ... any other ideas ... thanx a lot for reply Sent: Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 6:34 AM

Can you check if GPO is working now for your xp also. 
and please mail through the list, this way others help also. 
 
( and just ignore the error ) 
its the same as :

in my case the GPO did work, i just ignored the error.

thanx for the reply it seems that the problem reported by samba-tool ntacl sysvolcheck was solved with the sysvolreset command but the problem with
root at pdc:/usr/local/samba/bin# ./samba-tool gpo aclcheck
ERROR(<type 'exceptions.KeyError'>): uncaught exception - 'No such element'
  File "/usr/local/samba/lib/python2.7/site-packages/samba/netcmd/__init__.py", line 175, in _run
    return self.run(*args, **kwargs)
  File "/usr/local/samba/lib/python2.7/site-packages/samba/netcmd/gpo.py", line 1150, in run
    ds_sd_ndr = m['nTSecurityDescriptor'][0]
 
still remains ... any suggestions???
