Yes. Posix ACLs in particular distinguish between regular ACLs (for
existing objects) and default ACLs (ACLs applied to newly created child
objects). You can e.g. set a regular and default ACL equalling 755 for
the whole share, and change only the ACLs for that particular "shared"
directory (and then either change default+regular ACLs, so all
sub-directories are also group-writeable, or change only regular ACLs,
to keep sub-directories not writeable to groups).
