If you want a fully featured domain controller, you still need to use
the internal Kerberos for compatibility reasons. My SRPM building
tools and notes are at
https://github.com/nkadel/samba-4.1.x-srpm/tree/4.2.1-0.1 and at
https://github.com/nkadel/samba4repo, along with hooks to the various
needed libraries.
