Alright, I applied the patch to the Debian provided source (v4.1.17),
recompiled and tested again. Now one of the error messages is gone, though
the other one still shows up and replication is still broken:

Jul 27 09:26:02 dc2 samba[1146]: [2015/07/27 09:26:02.479576, 0]
../source4/librpc/rpc/dcerpc_util.c:681(dcerpc_pipe_auth_recv)
Jul 27 09:26:02 dc2 samba[1146]: Failed to bind to uuid
e3514235-4b06-11d1-ab04-00c04fc2dcd2 for e3514235-4b06-11d1-ab04-00c04

This starts to happen after brief network connectivity issues between the
DCs, and after restarting Samba everything returns to normal.

Perhaps this was fixed in a later version?? I guess many people would have
noticed this if this was a mainstream problem. I guess I can test with the
Sernet packages or directly compiling from source, but I would like to keep
these systems as 'vanilla' as possible.

Any thoughts?

Best regards.
