adding that as a vfs object breaks the share. It load up when i try to view it. I don't think i'm hitting limits since i delete a copy of the same file in the root of the server with it and it deletes just fine showing up in my recycle bin.

Remove acl_attr at the end. It's another vfs object. The share name indicates that there might be quite large files. Do you hit a default(?) max limit which tells Samba to just discard the file?

The config for samba is this. if u didnt get it before srry about the attachment
# This is the main Samba configuration file. You should read the
# smb.conf(5) manual page in order to understand the options listed
# here. Samba has a huge number of configurable options (perhaps too
# many!) most of which are not shown in this example
#
# Any line which starts with a ; (semi-colon) or a # (hash)
# is a comment and is ignored. In this example we will use a #
# for commentry and a ; for parts of the config file that you
# may wish to enable
#
# NOTE: Whenever you modify this file you should run the command "testparm"
# to check that you have not many any basic syntactic errors.

Hi Logan.
No smb.conf attached. Try copy and paste directly in to the mail.
I had a similar problem with acl_attr using a dedicated datadisk created with mdam and LVM where the LVMs had a samba share. After adding acl_attr to every share definition the problem was resolved.

this module doesn't seem to want to work on anything but a root ubuntu
filesystem. It won't work on any external drives or secondary drives just
the main one. This poses as a problem for a system with several drives.
if i delete on a secondary
