[Samba] problem giving setting user permissions on specific folder

Is this server a domain controller or member server?  If a member 
server, do you have winbind running?

Is "INTERN" the domain name or the local machine name?

When setting the permissions in windows, do you see the user as 
INTERN\user or UNIX\user?   Are the permissions sticking in windows?
