[Samba] Folder Redirected Domain Member Attaching Old Versions of Document to Email

Greetings,

We've been noticing on a couple machines that sometimes a user will edit 
a Word doc, attach to email and send, but the recipient will open up an 
old copy of the attachment, i.e. the version of the file that was synced 
on the local machine before the sender edited and attached it.

Has anyone seen this problem before, and can anyone offer advice?
