[Samba] Send samba logs to syslog

Hello,

     Is this still the recommended steps to forward to syslog?

|configure| |--with-syslog

vi/etc/syslog.conf   add   daemon.*   /var/log/daemon.log

vi /smb.conf

[global]

syslog = 1
syslog only = yes

Is this all? I assume using a 'syslog = 3' or less should be sufficient 
for all non developer needed information? This will be used to monitor 
logs on a Samba ADDC. Thanks.
