Yes the same with me now and then . In this case use samba-tool and
everything is working.

Hi dear list members

It's about 10 months that we have setup our samba 4.0.10 and using it as the
only domain controller and LDAP server.
We had not any issues unless recently that: sometimes when we add users
using microsoft RSAT tools on a client windows 7, the user is shown on the
"Active Directory Users and Computers" snap-in but when that user wants to
log in to his computer, the error comes that this user is not recognised!

When I check those users using:
# /usr/local/samba/bin/wbinfo --name-to-sid AAAA

this error is shown:
failed to call wbcLookupName: WBC_ERR_DOMAIN_NOT_FOUND Could not lookup name
AAAA

Please note that this happens sometimes not always!
