I'm having csc policy disabled on the shares containing the user
profiles and the one containing the user homes (where the redirected
folders go to) and haven't seen any problems here with Office 2013 - but
we're not having many users with that version.

If you don't use offline caching functions, disabling this feature
should not have a negative impact.
