[Samba] Which are the config directories?

Hello,

I want to upgrade samba with minimal downtime, and do not
want to have all build-libraries on the production server.

So I compiled on another machine, and now want to replace
the binaries in /usr/local/samba.

However some of the subdirectories contain config files,
which must be preserved.

I assume these are: etc, private, var/lock, and var/locks.
AD-DC also needs sysvol.

Is this list correct, incomplete, too much?
