[Samba] Samba + CUPS

ok, try the following. 

1) make a backup of /etc/samba /var/lib/samba /var/cache/samba 

2
this removes and purges/clears all of samba
apt-get remove --purge `dpkg -l | grep samba | cut -f3 -d" "`

if needed apt-get install mlocate 
updatedb
locate samba 
clear the rest of it. 

install backports samba again.

I think the problem is that I'm running it on a raspberry pi (ARM) and the source should be for x86/x64, no?

dpkg -l | grep samba
to make sure there is no old samba4 things.
