possibly, have you done anything to the Administrator account ?

Also can you post the (sanitized) result of:

ldbsearch -H /var/lib/samba/private/sam.ldb cn=Administrator

You may have to alter '/var/lib/samba/private/sam.ldb' with the path to 
your sam.ldb
