[Samba] Cannot add user to group in Samba AD DC

What happens when you try to install a computer with the name : CAS 
and you want to create the first user with the name cas?  

see : http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/310845 

in short, dont use a username and the samename for the computer name. 
It will not work at all and is asking for problems.
