[Samba] Samba4 - Weird behavior

I just completely reinstalled my Win 8.1 Pro operating system and am 
experiencing an odd issue. Running Samba 4 on Centos 7 at PDC (NT Domain 
Controller, not AD)

I am logged in with a user who is in a Domain Admin (not sure if that 
matters). But if I bring up a command prompt and type,
'whoami /groups', it messes up the system. After doing that, if I right 
click the desktop and select Personalize, I get the error:

Explorer.EXE - Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or 
file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

What in the world would cause this? I tested it on a virtual machine and 
it happens there too, so it is not machine specific. Anyone else seeing 
this?
