Then your network configuration is broken, the device name has changed,
you replaced the NIC or changed the MAC, if it's a virtual NIC, ...
This isn't generally a Samba problem.
The only thing I can imagine is, that you have Samba bind to listen on
eth3, which isn't available (any more).
What is the output of
$ testparm -sv | grep interfaces
