Hello Rowland,

mine is like the one in the wiki doc "join a domain as a DC" :

search ariane.intra
nameserver 172.20.2.2
nameserver 172.20.2.6

172.20.2.2 is the samba4 DC and 172.20.2.6 the w2008.
I also tried to switch position of the 2 nameserver lines in this file 
without any more effect...
