Stop there.
That's perfect. Now call the DC cnfsp.cnpapers.net
remove smb.conf
and re-provision, adding the dns forwarder line afterwards.

Make sure that:
hostname -s
cnfsp
hostname -f
cnfsp.cnpapers.net
and hostname -d
cnpapers.net

before you go ahead.
